Holy Family School Mount Waverley enlisted the support of our Youth Resource Services officers to adequately inform our students of the need to stay safe in the online environment.
Key information that the students found out about was -
- never share your username or password
- you need to be 13+ to access most social media platforms
- it is illegal to set up a profile pretending to be someone else
- only talk to people online who you know
- talk to your parents/teachers if you see something online that makes you feel uncomfortable
