Whole School Wellbeing Day Celebrates Dance, Movement and Joy

Holy Family School recently celebrated our Whole School Wellbeing Day with a fun-filled and energetic visit from Dean from Dance Curriculum.

Throughout the day, every class participated in an engaging dance session where students learnt a choreographed routine under Dean's expert guidance. Students enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to express themselves through movement while developing new dance skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The excitement continued to build as the day concluded with a whole school dance-off, where students and staff came together to showcase their routines and celebrate their achievements. The atmosphere was filled with energy, laughter and school spirit as our community cheered one another on.

This fabulous experience provided students with a wonderful opportunity to promote and strengthen important wellbeing values such as cooperation, resilience and respect. Through music and movement, students worked collaboratively, encouraged one another and stepped outside their comfort zones with confidence and enthusiasm.

A special thank you to Dean from Dance Curriculum for sharing his passion and expertise with our students. The day was a wonderful reminder that music and movement truly bring smiles to everyone and play an important role in supporting student wellbeing.

It was a memorable day enjoyed by all and one that will be fondly remembered by our Holy Family community.
